Commitment
Daphrose is a practicing and committed Catholic Christian. Her husband, who had lost faith, had a late reconversion, after which they lived a life of intense faith through the charismatic renewal and exert charity to the sick and abandoned children. In 1992, they founded an accommodation center for street children called CECYDAR (Center Cyprien and Daphrose Rugamba).Since 194, the centre has reintegrated 5215 children in their families. In 1989, during a trip to France, they visited the Emmanuel Community in Paray-le-Monial and decided to become the founders of Emmanuel community in Rwanda.
Help us build a house for a homeless family in which our children live after school and family reintegration to prevent them from returning to the streets.
