Organization Description

UR-HG LTD is a profit-making company established in Rwanda on the 9th day of September 2011. In order to comply with the Rwandan Company Act, it was registered with the Rwanda Development Board (RDB) through the office of Registrar General and its registration number is 102 450 793. The Company has been changing names since the commencement of its business affairs in 2011. The first name was KHIBD Ltd (Kigali Health Institute Business Development Limited) and then became UR-CMHSBD Ltd (University of Rwanda College of Medicine Health Sciences Business Development Limited), on 12th June 2019 and now UR-HG LTD (University of Rwanda Holdings Group Limited).
Company business activities have been updated in response to target market and shareholder organizational change. Since its incorporation, the emphasis was on health sector (Clinic, where service delivery was in dental, imaging, physiotherapy and laboratory). On 12th June 2019, the number of its business activities was increased from 5 to 79. The Company business activities are organized into six divisions or business units namely : Agri-Business (SBU01), Business Support & Consultancy (SBU02), Catering & Hospitality (SBU03), Media (SBU04), Polyclinic (SBU05) and Printery & Stationeries (SBU06) which may become at their maturity stages, subsidiaries of UR-Holdings Group Ltd.
